Stay
on the high road with Me. Many voices clamour for your attention,
trying to divert you to another path. But I have called you to walk
ever so closely with Me, soaking in My presence, living in My peace.
This is my unique design for you…
I
have called each of my children to a different path, distinctly
designed for that one. Do not let anyone convince you that his path
is the only right one. And be careful not to extol your path as
superior to another’s way. What I require of you is to act
justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Me – wherever I
lead. (Jesus Calling by Sarah Young)
Micah 6:8 He
has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require
of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your
God.
I was just thinking along this line... the "What would Jesus do?" idea isn't right. Rather, what is he/the Holy Spirit telling me to do?
ReplyDeleteI see it as the basic tenet being the same, but how it is expressed in each of our lives is an individual thing? xx
