Yarn Along

Joining Ginny for Yarn Along...

We had our monthly knitting group get together recently.  I am still knitting beanies for charity...

And sewing up blankets.  I have a single and cot blanket together that I need to crochet an edge around...
(single bed blanket in the sewing together process)

We finished a comfort/lap blanket which we have given to one of the ladies in our church who has ongoing health problems...
(Roma, Shirley and Betty with comfort blanket)

Reading At the Water's Edge.  Only a couple of chapters into it, but it's got me already...
Set in the Scottish Highlands...how could you not like it :))

More to say...but no time to say it, so will have to save it for another post...

xx

  1. I just added that book to my Goodreads To Read Shelf - I'll have to pop back in to see how it was.

    1. Hi Lucy - the single bed blanket turned out really well considering it is made up of rectangles knitted by a number of ladies using a variety of different coloured yarns. I tried to colour co-ordinate it a bit when I was putting it together and have it all sewn up now. All it needs is the crocheted edge :)) xx
