We only have a very small library in our town, so this was a real treat...
But first, coffee and cake in their little cafe...
Then a lovely browse of the bookshelves...
I haven't read any of these books, and apparently this is the second of many Elm Street Quilts novels, although I think they are stand-alone stories but with many of the same characters.
I'm still reading The Long Winter but hope to read the Round Robin book next...
What are you reading?
xx
Funny you should ask..... after your recent post, I decided to bring home Little Town on the Prairie - you got me back on the track!
ReplyDeleteA cafe in a library - wow! This is in the city? Those books you got look very appealing.
Good to hear you are back on track :)
DeleteYes, Burnie is a city, but probably small by US standards. I think it's Tasmania's fourth largest city (pop: 20,000), a 40-minute drive from Latrobe.
Devonport, Tasmania's third largest city (pop:26,000) is a 10-minute drive from me.
What a beautiful library, I’m nit sure I ever went there or maybe it has changed since we lived there. I recently went to the Boston library but only for a quick run through, no time to enjoy the books or cute little coffee shop. Last book was The History of the Future by Blake J Harris about the birth of virtual reality industry.
ReplyDeleteI think the library is pretty much the same as it was when we lived there, but the cafe is new :)
ReplyDeleteThe book sounds interesting, but I'm more inclined to read something like' Surviving the Tech Tsunami' by Gary Miller :))
Such a lovely library! And the books you borrowed definitely look inspiring!
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice to spend time amongst all those books :)
DeleteI 💛 all libraries ! Don't know what I would do without them!!
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
