Linking up with Ginny for Yarn Along.
Working on my 'India Blanket' (so called because my friend Debbie sent me the yarn from India last year)..
Crochet 64 squares and edge in dark grey...
Sew together 2 plain and 2 coloured squares = 16 x 4 square blocks...
Edge in white and light grey...
and hope that you have enough white and light grey to do all the blocks
Package up 12 beanies that Debbie crocheted for charity...
Walk to the Post Office...
and mail the parcel off to KOGO
Home for coffee and a mag browse...
Do some gardening...
Relax and read...it's been on my bookshelf for over a year...waiting...
liturgy of the ordinary...very good!
Did you know there is a name for people like me...
A day in the life...
xx
Ha! That's me, too! But I put them in the bookcase, where they have their own space. I figure that I own it and can read it any time, but I can read library books in the meantime. I am trying to change this bad habit!
ReplyDeleteYes...mine are on the bookshelves too. And yesterday, after a day in Launceston with Marnie, I came home with 4 more books to join the others!! xx
DeleteHa, ha on the thing about books. Love your granny squares and what a lovely walk!
ReplyDeleteShhh!! Don't tell anyone, but I just bought 4 more books... :)) xx
DeleteI'm loving your kind of day Lynda! Your coffee looks like one from the shop.... yum!
ReplyDeleteTastes like one from the shop too!!! My little coffee machine has served me well :) xx
DeleteWow ! Lynda. Loving the design you have come up with. With the yarn I sent you.
ReplyDeleteMy blocks are much slower than yours , as I am doing a MOOD BLANKET.
Enjoy your day.

Deletesounds like a relaxing sort of day, a little here, a little there and look it all fit together.
