I had started this a while ago (the square centre piece) and my friend Debbie finished it off for me by adding extra top and bottom to make it a single bed size. I still need to crochet an edging around it...
Recently finished this book. A very interesting and informative read...
Been listening to these CD's from Cedar Springs Youth. A follow on from my time at the Mennonite wedding and once again hearing their beautiful singing...
And have started this book. Another one by Barbara Brown Taylor. Good...as usual...
More than enough to keep me busy :))
Check out Ginny's Yarn Along posts to see what others are creating and reading...
Hope your week is going well!
xx
I WAS HAPPY TO FINISH OFF THE BLANKET FOR YOU, LYNDA. BUT... I DID STRUGGLE. THE REASON WAS THE COLOURS. NOT MY COLOURS. PERSERVERANCE PAID OFF IN THE END.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! I appreciate your perseverance :)). I am about to start the edging on it today! xx
DeleteI love the blankets! And the books you've been reading look so interesting! Amazon had the Nightwatch one for $0.01 and the postage, so I've sent for a copy. Thank you for the recommendation! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Pen - I got my copy from Amazon for a few cents too. Have had it on my bookshelf for over 12 months...as I do with many of my books...until the right time comes to read it.
DeleteI hope you enjoy it! xx
All looks very productive, creative and interesting!
ReplyDeleteHi Christine! I don't seem to be making much of a dent in all these squares that I have to sew together.
DeleteThe ladies in the knitting group have them coming to me faster than I can get them together.
They love knitting the squares, but unfortunately they are not so keen on sewing them together :))) xx
