Tagua

Yesterday I was able to visit the Oxfam shop in Launceston.  I don't get to Launceston very often and it is one of my favourite shops...along with the bookshops.

I bought this necklace.  Don't you just love it! 

 
 
The design is called Magic Forest.  It's made from the Tagua nut.  You can read more about it HERE.
 
On my last visit I bought this bracelet.... also made from the Tagua nut.
 
And also in purple :)
 
 
 
I'm not into bright, shiny, sparkly jewellery, but having said that...
 
I did buy this ring recently at a market.  Because it's different.
 
It's actually made from a tiny stainless steel fork!!
 
 
 
Just as well I don't get to go shopping very often :))

      Yes...I like purple!!

      I tend to wear a lot of black, brown and grey colours in my clothing, so purple is a good colour to give my drabness a lift :)
