December Yarn Along

Not much time for yarn work and reading with all the walking (see the various 'Out and About' posts on blog), but...

Working on the crocheted cot blanket for charity.  At the moment it's a square, but I need to make it a rectangle, so will add some smaller granny squares to one end which should work...

And a baby jumper in a self patterning yarn...
 both items for KOGO

Still reading...
but am three-quarters through it.  It's good, I just haven't had much reading time

And linking in to Yarn Along!

xx

  1. Hi Lynda, it's been some time between looking at blogs, I didn't know how much I missed yours, thankyou for sharing, it's such peaceful reading & makes me want to learn to crochet or quilt...can't decide, I am also inspired by scripture and nature especially warms my heart, I'd like to wish you and your wonderful family a delightful Christmas indeed!

    love Bianca

    (PS. I didn't realize Tassie had funnelwebs...yakes!)

Yes, we have spiders...and snakes...and moths (which can't hurt you, but I have a moth phobia !?!?)

Christmas blessings to you too! xx

  3. I really like the self patterning yarns, I knitted sweaters and matching hats for my two granddaughters in a very BRIGHT self patterning stripe, they love them.

    1. I've finished it! Except for sewing on 3 little buttons at the shoulder. I enjoyed knitting with it, but not doing the neck band and sewing up :)) xx

  4. What do you mean, you have little time for yarn work?? It sure looks like you're progressing to me! I can tell that you live an ordered life! :)
