  1. I looked at those a long time. I've sat on both those kind of chairs, and the green ones are way more comfortable. The traditional wooden ones look as if they'd be comfy, but they aren't. And the green chairs and table are much easier to relocate - for cleaning, or to have them outside in the garden. Good choice! Do you miss the bigger table top?

  2. And where did your lovely little wooden table end up going I wonder?

    1. Still sitting on its side in the kitchen waiting for someone to come and help me get it out to the shed...for now! xx

  3. Hi Pen! Actually they are black...but that's beside the point... :)

I had them outside in the garden (on a deck, under cover), but brought them in to swap them over. The wooden table and chairs were supposed to be temporary until I got a bigger table (and one that I liked). The wooden cottagey look doesn't really go in my kitchen which is mostly black, white and stainless steel, so the black ones are a nicer...and I like them better.

The table is a bit small...I would prefer a bigger one, but I already had these, and it's not like I entertain very often, or have dinner parties, usually it's just me, myself and I, and we fit quite nicely at the smaller table...and yes, it is easier to move around, etc. I don't like big heavy pieces of furniture as I'm the one who has to move them!

Hence the reason the wooden table is standing on its side in the kitchen waiting for someone to call in so I can enlist them to help me get it to the shed. xx

  4. Ease of movement is a good point. You have to make your place useful for your own life and purposes.

    1. I will have more 'ease of movement' when I can get the wooden table out of the kitchen and into the shed :) xx
